We are pleased to inform you about our service and facilities in the terminals in Nes and Holwert. Your journey to Ameland begins in Holwert!
Wagenborg Plaza
Wagenborg Plaza is the very place where you can go for a cup of coffee, flowers, fashion & accessories, jewellery, books and magazines or the well-known Ameland beverage, both before and after your journey. Wagenborg Plaza can be visited in the Holwert terminal.

Ordering flowers
Are you going to visit your friends or family or do you want to give your holiday accommodation a nice touch of colour? Our florists at Wagenborg Plaza will be pleased to help you with arranging a beautiful bouquet. Do you want your bouquet to be ready for you when you leave for Ameland? This is possible. Send your requirements to us via the e-mail address info@wpd.nl.
Boarding gates
There are boarding gates in the Holwert terminal where you can check-in if you are travelling without a vehicle.
Ticket machine for the ferry and fast ferry service
You can easily purchase your ticket for the ferry or fast ferry via the ticket machine at the Holwert terminal. In the terminal Nes, you can buy tickets for the fast ferry. You do not have to queue at the cash desk. Fast and convenient! You can of course also buy your ticket from one of our employees at the counter in the Holwert terminal or order in advance online.
Wagenborg Card balance checker
Do you want to know how much credit you still have on your Wagenborg Card? Check your balance at the balance checkers in the Nes or Holwert terminal.
Dutch Public Transport Travel Card (OV-Chipkaart) service point
Have you forgotten to top up your Dutch Public Transport Travel Card (OV-Chipkaart)? No problem: there is a top-up and order pick-up point for the Dutch Public Transport Travel Card (OV-Chipkaart) at our terminal in Holwert.
Parking Payment machine
If you do not want to stand in the queue at one of the payment machines in the car park then you can pay for your parking at the machine in the Nes terminal.
Nobeltje Experience Shop
You will find the Nobeltje Experience Shop in the Holwert terminal. It is no hardship to wait here for the boat. Come and taste a Nobeltje in the shop and watch the beautiful images of Ameland on the large video wall.
Coffee machine
In the terminal you can purchase a delicious cup of fresh coffee, espresso, café au lait or cappuccino, chocolate or tea at the coffee machine. You can easily pay contactless at the machine! We serve Wadden Espresso coffee.
Exhibition and view over the Wadden Sea
The top floor of the Holwert terminal is an exhibition area. The works of art have been created by the artist Jaap van Meeuwen.. From here you have a beautiful view over the Wadden Sea.
Webcam
Do you want to know how busy the harbour is? Or are you waiting for one of the crossings? There is a webcam in the Nes terminal.
